Oil of Oregano Soap

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Oil of oregano soap is the most practical use of oil of oregano. Oregano oil soap uses an essential oil that is much different than the oregano herb plants commonly used in Italian cooking. Origanum compactum and Origanum vulgare are the two species of oregano plants used to produce oregano essential oil for medicinal, therapeutic and aromatherapy purposes. The distilled oregano oil comes from the leaves and flowers and is sold as an Oil of Oregano essential oil. Oil of oregano has a constituent, carvacrol, that is highly beneficial for its antiseptic and properties. The proprietary formula used for Oil of Oregano Soap has a concentration of at least 70% carvacrol.

Oil of oregano soap is a recent addition to the long list of oregano oil uses. The first recorded history of the uses of oil of oregano was for stomach disorders, an antiseptic, as well as respiratory ailment cures by Hippocrates, founder of the Hippocratic School of medicine, and considered the father of Western medicine ( ca. approx. 380 BC). Twenty two hundred years later, the University of the West of England, Bristol confirmed Hippocrates’ claim, whereby researchers announced that oil of oregano is a very strong bactericidal, antiseptic, antiviral, parasiticide, antitoxic, as well as a fungicidal and is “…more effective at killing, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, the hospital superbug (also known as MRSA), than the leading 18 antibiotics” current used to battle this seriously contagious microbe. (Himalayan Oregano Effective Against MRSA). Medical News Today. 24 November 2008). The constituent properties in oil of oregano soap are also known to destroy organisms that contribute to skin irritation, skin infections, skin itches, support the immune system, and support joint and muscle flexibility.

Oil of oregano soap is made with the oregano oil, 100% Pure Origanum compactum essential oil, aloe vera, colloidal silver, and plant derived 75 essential trace minerals (the same trace minerals used in a leading cosmetic company’s most expensive skin care formulas), for complete skin, muscle and nerve support. These combined beneficial ingredients of oil of oregano soap will relax, soothe and support your body’s immune system and skin with the aromatherapy benefits prevalent while you bathe. The oil of oregano soap sold here is all natural, vegan compliant and ph balanced. When oil of oregano soap is massaged onto scalp, hair and skin and allowed to soak 5 minutes or more, the maximum body support is gained.
This Oil of Oregano Soap contains no synthetic oils, no blends of carrier oils or any combination of different oregano oils. Only 100% Pure Origanum compactum essential oil is used in Oil of Oregano Soap™!

Of all the Essential oils available to us today, none of them compare to the many properties found in oregano oil. Oregano oil is truely the SUPER Essential Oil of all fulfilling the qualifications of therapeutic, aromatherapy and medicinal.
